Hospital—Nouakchott
A planned 440-bed reference hospital in Nouakchott, supported by Islamic Development Bank financing, is designed to expand specialized maternal, newborn, and child healthcare capacity through new hospital infrastructure and medical equipment.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz University Hospital—Nouakchott
A 308-bed university and referral hospital under construction in Nouakchott, financed by the Saudi Fund for Development. The facility is designed to provide advanced medical and surgical specialties, diagnostics, emergency care, and clinical training.
Nouakchott Health Centers Development Program
The first phase of the Nouakchott Development Program included the construction, rehabilitation, expansion, and equipping of 28 health centers across the capital. The facilities have been completed and brought into service to strengthen primary healthcare infrastructure and improve access to local health services.
